#21. Children Are Monsters in First Cooties Trailer

The horror comedy arrives on September 8th.

Roger Deakinsis responsible for being the director of photography on gorgeous films likeTrue Grit, The Shawshank Redemption, O Brother Where Art Thou?, andThe Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. And while we don’t know if the forthcoming sequelBlade Runner 2will actually be good, we at least know that it will look beautiful, because Deakins has been hired to take care of the cinematography on the project. #7. George Miller Has a Title for Mad Max: Fury Road Sequel

If you haven’t seenMad Max: Fury Roadyet, then stop reading this and go see it right now. And if you haven’t seen it twice, then you should probably do the same. For those of us who have already seen it, we’re undoubtedly looking forward to a sequel. We don’t have any details on what the sequel might follow, butGeorge Millerrevealed in an interview that as of now, the sequel would be calledMad Max: The Wasteland.Find out more right here.

Also, if you’ve been desperate to learn more about the infamous character with the flame-throwing guitar, known as theDoof Warrior, you might be happy to knowthat he has an entire backstory. However,not everyone is keen to knowall these kind of details, and I can’t say that I disagree. But one thing I am keen on is this hilariously perfectmash-up of Mad Max: Fury Road and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

#6. Dwayne Johnson Returning for Fast and Furious 8

This is a no-brainer, butDwayne Johnsonhas confirmed that he will be back forFast and Furious 8. The film is already scheduled for release in April of 2017, but that’s really all we know about the sequel so far. Johnson also discussed the possibility of a spin-off film focused on his character Hobbs, but to get details on that, you’ll have to read the original report.

#5. Phil Lord Talks Animated Spider-Man Movie & The Flash

One half of the directing duo behindThe LEGO Movieand21 Jump Streetopened up about their forthcoming comic book projects at Sony Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures.Phil Lord & Chris Millerare developing a standalone animatedSpider-Manmovie at Sony while also working on the story forThe Flashin the DC Comics universe. However, Lord reveals that both movies will have a style all their own, with little influence from the comic book worlds around them.
