Five ‘Terminator Genisys’ Character Posters Are So Metal
Five character posters forAlan Taylor’sTerminator Genisyshave just hit the web and they are so metal. Not “metal” in that rocking, awesome way though. I mean literally. Four of the five feature either a terminator, or a piece of a terminator, suggesting the July 1 release is going to be very, very heavy on the metal-to-metal action. Plus, we get to learn the name of the next evolution of Terminator tech. There was the T-800, the T-1000, everyone forgets about the T-X, but now we have the T-3000. I was going to put a spoiler warning about the John Connor thing (Jason Clarke plays John Connor in the film) but if Paramount refuses to pretend like it’s important, why should we? At least we don’t know how he becomes this being, if he has a human form too, or if the T-3000 can change its physical appearance in ways different from the T-1000.
Though these posters are, for the most part, uninspiring, they undoubtedly capture that iconic Terminator look audiences know so well. Anyone who sees one of these in the wild will know exactly what they are. I’m still holding out hope for something really exciting, fun and different.
