Offscreen Sequels: ‘Mad Max’ Game, ‘Saved By The Bell’ Digital Comics, ‘Prometheus’ Comic Book

Prometheusis spilling over into comics. Dark Horse Entertainment is “brewing something up that I think the fans ofRidley Scott’s amazing film will really like,” says publisher Mike Richardson.

No official announcement has been made and details are still scarce, butBleeding Coolreports that Dark Horse plans to introducePrometheuscharacters into theirAlienscomic book franchise, which has been around since 1988. Richardson let slip that a writer had already been hired for the new project, but wouldn’t say who. More info is expected to hit at Comic-Con. [THR]

Chief Creative OfficerChristofer Sundbergtweeted that Max Rockatansky would speak with an Aussie accent in the upcomingMad Maxvideo game, after an earlier trailer with American accents drew criticism (and inspired aChange.orgpetition).
