Two More ‘Pacific Rim’ Blueprints Illustrate The Guts Of Guillermo Del Toro’s Giant Robots [Updated With Two More]
Want to build a giant robot?Guillermo del Torois giving you the plans. His moviePacific Rimis starting to make itself known online by releasing small marketing materials including a test of a warning system meant to alert us to giant monster attack, anda low-res news montage of just such an attack.
The best defense against giant monsters is giant robots, and yesterday’s barrage of material included a blueprint for one of the film’s Jaegers — that being the military name for the giant monster-fightin' machines. Now we’ve got two more for machines from Russia and Japan, which give hints of the tandem pilot system (two people run each Jaeger) and the differences in design from one to the next.
